the appearance

Soot has a a very dark pelt, similar to the color of soot,giving her a good advantage at night. Her muzzle and nose look as if they were burned by something. Her claws are short and sharp. Her eyes are amber with a shade of green in the center.

the personality

Soot is secretive cat and finds most cats to be untrustworthy, though she greatly trusts her brothers, Russetkit and Cinderkit and will protect them with her life. She can be highly aggressive when it comes to meeting strangers and other cats, but that dosen't mean shes's a mean cat. She's acutally quite nice once you get to know her. This kit loves to go on an adventure, always running,eager to explore and charging headfirst before thinking about things. When it comes to battle, Soot will always fight strong, rarely ever holding back.Dispite her Shadowclan orgins, she a heart of a Thunderclan cat.

the history

Soot was one of three kits of Shadowclan warriors, named, Spottedmask and Icepath.
When Bloodclan came to Shadowclan to seduce Strikestar in to joining them, Spottedmask was one cat who opposed joining Bloodclan and stood up to them. Before he could warn any of the other clans, he was killed by Bloodclan's deputy. Icepath was crushed to see him killed and mourned for him once Bloodclan had left, giving the next day to decide wether or not they would join them. The young she-cat was fearful for her clan because of the many cats Bloodclan had killed and because they had taken out Windclan. Now they were next to brought in to the mess. Soon enought the next day came and Bloodclan returned and, to Icepath's surprise, Strikestar decided to join the rouge cats in their league. She wanted to protest, but she held her tongue. With the two groups combined, Shadowclan and Bloodclan planned to attack Thunderclan and Riverclan. This was an outrage for for Icepath! She decided that Shadowclan was no more. Combined with Bloodclan, they were just a group of loners. So left, hoping to find something better.

After Icepath left Shadowclan, three kits were born and she named them Sootkit, Cinderkit and Russerkit. Cinderkit is a grey tom with hazlel eyes and Russetkit is a dark brown kit with tabby stripes, dark brown ears and green eyes. The three kits were soon up on their paws and ready to take on the world. As the three explored, they found their way near Shadowclan territory. Icepath was shocked by how destroyed Shadowclan looked. Not knowing of the four clans, the kits questioned her shocked look, so Icepath told them what happened in the past. About the clans, how Bloodclan came and took over, everything she knew,except for one thing. The next day the three kits woke and Icepath wasn't there. They looked around for her,but they didn't find her. And they didn't know whether she was alive or not. She just vanished.

Since then, Cindekit, Russetkit, and Sootkit always stood together. They one day crossed paths with three Bloodclan cats, and their meeting came out as a bad start. But the Bloodclan cats were really testing them. The kits were taken in, passing their "test". Dispite the terrible things they had heard about Bloodclan, they took the offer.Their names were chanched to (Blazing)Soot, (Racing)Russet, and (Roaming)Cinder.
