LION
He is eight years old, and is harbored by BloodClan.
the appearanceLion has dark grayish-brown tabby fur with commonly-narrowed dark eyes. His pelt is rough and his fur is thick; his paws are small but quick. His whiskers are white and long. Speaking of longness, Lion has a long tail and decently-lengthed ears. Overall, his bodice is rough and old, but he is strong. Sharp claws are great for fighting; ditto for his teeth. Lion has several scars all over his body from fights and hard times.
the personalityLion is calm and quite lazy, and he can be gruff at times. But mostly, Lion is friendly to 'youngsters', as he calls them. Whether or not he is old and acts like it, inside he is burning and is very young. His spirit is strong and naturally in the youth still. His determination is unmistakeable; though his mistakes he has learned from. Lion has, indeed, gone through so much in his life.
the historyEight years ago, Lion was born. He suckled next to three other kits. He was the odd one of the bunch, and he was often rejected by his siblings and other kits. His mother was merciless and got so fed up with her kits that she gladly left them three moons after birth, and never came back to check on them. One of the custons of BloodClan is that there should be no family bondings, and you must leave your kits after three moons, but the mothers often go back and meet their kits again. Serpent, on the other hand, did not bother to visit her kits again and applied for becoming a guard, as she was a bulky she-cat.
One of Lion's siblings, Moss, was nice enough... but Hugor and Brick were extremely unkind and sneered at Lion's lean body. They were bulky like Serpent, but Lion was the small, skinny one who took after his father, Hiss.
Eventually, all four kits grew up; Hugor decided to follow his mother's steps and applied to become a BloodClan guard; he succeeded, and was renamed Burn. Moss wanted to become a fighter, so she was put in the 'warrior' category and was renamed to be Trickster. Brick just left Lion in the dust, walking away at midnight while Lion was sleeping; he didn't even bother to say goodbye. Lion has no idea where Brick went, and the last time he saw his strong brother was that evening.
After Brick left, Lion was all alone -- and was also a target for teasing and injuring. Other BloodClanners would see his smaller, helpless size and start clawing at him, jumping back, and sneering. By the time he was ten moons old, Lion had several scars and more had yet to come. At that same age, Lion got fed up with it and ran away from BloodClan. As you may know, once BloodClan, always BloodClan; you will be severely punished if you try to escape. But that's what Lion did, and was determined not to go back. It may sound crazy, but that's exactly what he did -- go back. He was a mousebrained fool, yes. But either way, he went back home because he felt that we was lonelier out of BloodClan than in; he preferred to just... be that way.
Before he returned to BloodClan, Lion had went through even more than what he had faced before ten moons. One time, a fire started in the part of the forest he was staying in. He made it out alive, but he still got scorched pretty bad and burns from time to time, though he feels comforted whenever he presses against it with warm water.
Obviously, he went back to BloodClan after that. He got lost a few times, but nevertheless he went back and did get punished; a terrible whipping with reinforced claws at that. He was then thrown into a black pit. That was where he found Celia. Now, Celia was different from the rest of BloodClan. She was actually kind and sweet, and Lion fell in love with her. Together, they escaped the pit and ran off.
"Lion..." Celia whispered, brushing against Lion's muzzle. He sighed and smiled; the feeling was great. "I love you so much," she murmured. Lion nodded. "I love you, too."
Suddenly, a shout echoed throughout the clearing. Celia whipped around, her blue eyes wide and horrified. "Celia!" Lion hissed under his breath as he saw what was happening. It was some BloodClan "bounty hunters." They would go out and find the "criminals" and kill them or drag them back [whatever the orders were] and then they would get awards and recognition.
Lion's blood ran cold when he saw a familiar pelt among them. It was rippling with muscles underneath and a dark, muddy color was splattered onto the white-and-brown tortoises-shell. "Moss," he muttered with disbelief. Feeling as if he could trust her, Lion gulped and set a paw forward. The group of three bounty hunters screeched and pounced at Lion; he quickly sidestepped but failed as he tripped on a loose cobblestone. "Gah!" he cried, frustration pricking at his belly. "Moss!" he shouted. "Don't you recognize me?!"
Moss paused and stared at him for a moment with her dark eyes that matched his own. Then she curled her lip and snarled. "You're a criminal, and you must die!" she hissed; then Moss leaped at him, claws outstretched. Horror flew through Lion, and he was so stunned he couldn't move. She was going for the throat.
"Stop!" Suddenly, a flash of white inturrupted Lion's shock, and black blaws were scratching and slashing at Moss's muzzle. Lion shook his head and blinked, jumping to his paws when he recognized that it was Celia who was fighting Moss. If he knew anything, it was that Celia wouldn't stand a chance against his sister. "Celia!" he called, trying to make her cease to fight. But it didn't work. He saw fear flicker through her eyes for a moment, but her courage was unmistakeable. Lion was worried, but at the same time, he was in awe. The white she-cat had bravery and honesty. She was... amazing.
Soon enough, the two she-cats were in a ball of teeth and fur. They were shredding each other. Lion desperately wanted them to stop -- he loved Moss and he loved Celia. He didn't want them both to go.
Suddenly, the white bundle of fur went limp, and a bloody Moss sat up in triumph. The two startled toms now came forward to congratulate her. But then they saw Lion shrinking under their fierce gaze. They tried to get to him, but at the moment Lion fled and left BloodClan territory. He stayed outside of BloodClan for quite some time, and at that time he was mourning his lost mate.
Later on, when he thought he was cleared, Lion dared himself to go back into BloodClan territory. Sure enough, no one remembered him and Lion went about BloodClan life as normal.
