FRUITFLY
she is two years old and she lives her life alone.
the appearanceA slim, fragile skeletal frame is bordered by a strong force of muscles; that overall bodice is encased by a richly feeling pelt that is dappled with the colors of tortoises shell. In detail, the white base is covered by many speckles, spots, and blotches. A long tail flags behind the cream hindquarters of this gentle spirited female. Delicate paws pad along the grass or concrete in wet puddles, dry earth, or icy sheets. Tender claws can be revealed whenever she so desires; they may deal damage that is worth more than their appearance. Two glittering pools are a shimmering amber. They have a lack of color that is quite knowledgable until shown in the light of a rainbow. It is then when they reflect their true form; at least, their mystical look tells the story that way.
the personalityA SENSE OF HUMILITY
Fruitfly has a lack if pride. Her modesty is great whenever she is complimented, and she denies her beauty. However, this drastically lowers her self-esteem; thus, she is shy and self-conscious of her looks. This can be a great fault of hers, as this causes others to slightly despise her because she appears to be so small and petite, and naturally, she is. But her spirits are crushed and she fears that her life is deprived of meaning.INTROVERTED FREAK
She prefers to be alone; this tends to give others a sense that she is aloof. However, such is not so. She is merely quiet and reserved, preferring to remain on the outlines of things. She is merely a silhoutte printed against the sky, an unnoticeable thing against the truly colored beings in the world. She is among many who share her same shy feelings, and even as a mass they are not considered in the world of extroverts.A HEART FULL OF LOVE WITH A HINT OF COMPASSION
However crushing she may be to herself, she is not so with other beings. She truly loves others and cares for them, putting them above her own needs. She is a servant with a hint of compassion, having pity and sympathy on others when they are hurt. Not only that, but she actually takes action, unlike other said names. Fruitfly is and always has been for this very reason.[/blockquote]
the history
Two years back in the past, this gorgeous introvert was a mere squirming kit, struggling for milk among her littermates. Even as a youngster, Fruitfly has always been held back from others, concealed by their pride, thus she has been unable to reveal her own unique beauty. She would kindly let her siblings move on first whenever something was occurring, and doing such to other young cats made them believe she was a weakling. Even when she was only two moons old, Fruitfly was bullied and shoved back by all others. She was shunned. There came a time when, eventually, Fruitfly didn't even try to take a step to the front. The others? They didn't care. Her own mother thought she was just a weak little kit that needed to be disposed of. After four moons, the bearer of the pretty tortoises shell could take it no longer. She simply scooped up her "weak" kit and separated her from the rest of the litter. Not only that, but she abandoned Fruitfly to live on her own, doubting that she would ever survived. Fruitfly's mother, being hardened by the harsh world, had a tough heart and forced away motherly instincts and worries as she thought about her abandoned kit.
For Fruitfly, it was all happening too quickly. One moment she was among her bustling littermates and the next she was wallowing about in the streets with rain pelting her now sodden coat. She wailed and mewled and attempted to find her way back home, hoping that this was all a huge mistake. She was brokenhearted and confused. What had she done to deserve this kind of treatment? All she ever did was hang back and watch the crowd. She wasn't a bully like the others. She was kind and gentle... it just made no sense. No sense at all. Nevertheless, she was still helplessly stuck in her predicament, and she sat there in wait of anything that might happen. She feared she would fall prey to some other animal, or be scooped up by a mysterious twoleg to be taken to one of those nests of theirs. Fruitfly was scared -- unbelievably scared. It was by some drop of luck that a barren she-cat longing for a kit of her own came across the sweet little bundle mewling in the rain. Awashed with pity and alarm, the barren she-cat took in the abandoned kit and called Fruitfly her own. Fruitfly was quite relieved that she had a kind new mother; she came close and followed Rose's footsteps. They acted as if they were best friends, sharing many good times together. However, then came the time to separate; they parted ways with tears flowing and they hoped to meet again in the future.
A year has passed since their parting and Fruitfly hasn't seen her adoptive mother ever since. Fruitfly has groped along in her life, wandering the streets as a stray and acting as a mere shadow in the world of great others.
